Community Internship 2003 The Community Internship Program is a project designed to foster communication and understanding between community leaders and the medical community. Last year, the program was held from October 7-9. There were 10 interns and 40 faculty physicians participating in the program. The interns shadowed four different physicians in a two-day span. They will visit a specialist, a primary care giver, an emergency room and view a surgical procedure. At the end of the program, the interns and physicians will share information and experiences.
